Abstract:
An internal combustion engine (10) is provided with a crank case (12), and a cylinder block (13) attached to the crank case (12). The crank case (12) and the cylinder block (13) have, formed therein: insertion holes (91L, 91R, 92L, 92R) into which fastening parts (93L, 93R, 94L, 94R) for fastening the crank case (12) and the cylinder block (13) together are inserted; and bulging parts (117) which extend outwards from wall parts positioned further outwards than the insertion holes (91L, 91R, 92L, 92R). Among the bulging parts (117), the cylinder block-side bulging part (117) formed in the cylinder block (13) has, provided thereto, a branched oil passage (100) for guiding lubricating oil to a plurality of downstream-side oil passages (110).
