Abstract:
This lubricating oil supply unit (40) and this bearing device (30) comprise: an oil tank (42) that retains a lubricating oil; a pump (43) that supplies the lubricating oil retained in the oil tank (42) to a bearing (5); a heat flow sensor (11a, 11b) that is installed on the bearing (5) or on a spacer (6), which is a member adjacent to the bearing; and a control device that controls the operation of the pump (43) in accordance with the output of the heat flow sensor (11a, 11b). The heat flow sensor (11a, 11b) makes it possible to accurately detect momentary and abrupt generation of heat in the roller bearing (5), assess a sign of abnormality on the basis of the detection result, and lubricate the bearing (5) at a suitable timing.
