Abstract:
The present invention improves the user's feel of wearing and also achieves further reduction in size. This lumbar part assistance device (10) is provided with a pair of right and left base sections (12) each of which has a lumbar axis pulley (28) supported rotatably around a first axis (C1) corresponding to the lumbar axis of a human body and a leg axis pulley (26) supported rotatably around a second axis (C2) corresponding to the leg axis of the human body. The lumbar part assistance device (10) is also provided with: an upper body-side frame (16) which is worn on the upper body of a user and which is connected to the lumbar axis pulleys (28); and a pair of right and left thigh arms (14) which are respectively worn on the right and left legs of the user and which are respectively connected to the left-side leg axis pulley (26) and the right-side leg axis pulley (26). Furthermore, the lumbar part assistance device (10) is provided with a pair of right and left compression coil springs (38) which, when the user's upper body is slanted forward, exert a biasing force on the upper body-side frame (16) in a direction for pulling the user's upper body up straight.
