Abstract:
In a case of a luminaire unit for use in a luminaire housing of a luminaire with an elongate profile element (10), through which a channel (3) with a longitudinal extent (L) is formed, wherein the channel (3), when viewed in a cross section, has a first side wall region (31), a second side wall region (32) and a base region (33) connecting the side wall regions (31, 32), and with a light-emitting means for generating a light to be emitted by the luminaire, which light-emitting means is arranged in a channel (3), a light-permeable shock-hazard protection element (11) is formed so as to connect the side wall regions (31, 32) and is arranged in such a way that the light-emitting means is surrounded in the form of a ring by the side wall regions (31, 32), the base region (33) and the shock-hazard protection element (11).
