Abstract:
A lunar orbiter system is obtained in which functions (positioning, communication, flashing) are assigned to artificial satellites in accordance with the relative positions of the artificial satellites in relation to the moon when the moon and the artificial satellites are observed from an inputted position on the earth, and trajectory planning is performed to correct the relative positions, which change due to the orbit cycle of the moon orbiting the earth. The lunar orbiter system comprises: a satellite trajectory planning unit that assigns the functions to the artificial satellites in accordance with the relative position of the artificial satellite in relation to the moon when the moon and the artificial satellite are observed from an inputted location on the earth, for a plurality of artificial satellites that constitute an artificial satellite group flying around the moon, and sets a target trajectory in accordance with the functions; and a satellite control unit that controls the artificial satellites on the basis of the functions, and switches the functions.
