Abstract:
A prognosis assessment device 1 has: a threshold value processing unit 21 that prepares an image obtained by performing a threshold value process, by using a prescribed threshold value, on a subject image in which a lung cancer tissue to be analyzed is captured; a Betti map generation unit 22 that generates a Betti map, for the image having undergone the threshold value process, by counting the number of tissue holes and/or connection parts for each prescribed individual region of interest; and a feature amount calculation unit 23 that calculates, from the Betti map, feature amounts relating to prognosis.
