Abstract:
A lying state detector of a bed in which a work for attaching the load detector of the
bed onto the installation surface of the bed can be facilitated. The lying state
detector (1A) of a bed comprises a plurality of load detectors (2) each having a
portion for mounting each leg (42) of a bed (40), wherein each load detector (2) is
mounted on a bed installation surface (45) and detects a load applied to the leg
(42) of the bed (40) when the leg (42) of the bed (40) is mounted on the mounting portion,
and the lying state of a subject is detected using signals related to the load of
the bed (40) outputted from the plurality of load detectors (2). The lying state
detector (1A) of a bed further comprises a plurality of noncontact distance sensors
for measuring the distance between a master unit (2A) and slave units (2B), respectively,
assuming one of the plurality of load detectors (2) is the master unit (2A) and
the remaining load detectors (2) are the slave units (2B).
