Abstract:
Provided is a method for determining the likelihood of having c-Met positive breast cancer, said method comprising measuring the expression level of at least one miRNA selected from the group consisting of miR-29a, miR-221, miR-222, miR-191 and miR-196a. Also provided is a method for treating lymphatic edema, said method comprising determining the likelihood of having c-Met positive breast cancer and, on the basis of the determination result, administering an HGF preparation. Also provided is a method for treating breast cancer, said method comprising administering a drug that controls the expression level of at least one miRNA selected from the group consisting of miR-29a, miR-221 and miR-222.
