Abstract:
Disclosed is a method wherein an organic polymer is polymerized in an aqueous solution, in which Mg and Fe are dissolved at a stoichiometric ratio, for preparing a precursor solid in which the respective elements are uniformly dispersed in the polymer, and then the precursor solid is fired at a temperature not less than 1100˚C, thereby producing MgFe2O4. The thus-produced MgFe2O4 is greatly increased in heat generation per unit amount by an alternating magnetic field. Consequently, the amount of MgFe2O4 to be left in a living organism can be reduced.
