Abstract:

A method for purifying N²−(1(S)−ethoxycarbonyl−3− phenylpropyl)−N⁶−trifluoroacetyl−L−lysine by subjecting N²−(1(S)−ethoxycarbonyl−3−phenylpropyl)−N⁶−trifluoroacetyl−L−lysine containing impurities to crystallization from a water−soluble aprotic organic solvent to thereby form crystals of N²−(1(S)−ethoxycarbonyl−3−phenylpropyl)−N⁶−trifluoro− acetyl−L−lysine with the impurities being dissolved in the mother liquor. This method permits the production of high−quality N²−(1(S)−ethoxycarbonyl−3−phenylpropyl)−N⁶−trifluoroacetyl−L−lysine in a high yield with high productivity, thus being suitable for practice on an industrial scale.
