Abstract:
Provided is a mobile communication system equipped with a first access network, for which a bearer forwarding route that guarantees a prescribed QoS is established, and a second access network, for which a forwarding route that differs from that of the first access network is established. A PCRF (60) transmits to a mobile station an upstream traffic switching request that contains information about a flow-of the flows being communicated by UE (10)-for which the access system type is switched, and information about the type of the access system to which said flow is switched. The UE (10) receives the aforementioned upstream traffic switching request, and switches the forwarding route of the flow included in the aforementioned upstream traffic switching request to that of the aforementioned access system type. Thus, with respect to a flow established by a mobile station that is capable of connecting to multiple wireless access networks simultaneously, it is possible to provide a mobile communication system and the like capable of switching the forwarding route of the relevant flow under the initiative of a control station arranged within a core network, without requiring modifications to be made to all of the wireless access networks.
