Abstract:
A machine component state measurement device is provided which has a short set-up time and which achieves excellent reproducibility of measurement results and high measurement accuracy by making it possible to always attach a sensor unit to a machine component in the same position even after repeated attachment and detachment; by automatically determining the machine component to be measured, this state measurement device dispenses with input operations and thereby precludes input errors, and can also measure moving parts. This state measurement device is provided with: a sensor unit (2) comprising a state detection sensor (6) for detecting the state of the machine component (1), and a reading device (7) for reading characteristic information from a characteristic information holding means (4) indicating information characteristic to the machine component (1); and a stay (3) mounted on the machine component (1), detachably holding the sensor unit (2), and disposed so as to allow the reading device (7) of the sensor unit to read from the characteristic information holding means (4), which indicates information characteristic to the machine component (1).
