Abstract:
This machine learning device makes it possible to generate numerical data with a high learning efficiency when numerical data is used as teaching data. The machine learning device includes a normalization unit that: acquires a plurality of pieces of numerical data indicating a plurality of numeric values which are in accordance with a prescribed arrangement; calculates, for each piece of numerical data, a numerical range of the plurality of numeric values indicated by the numerical data; and on the basis of the numerical range defined by the maximum numeric value and the minimum numeric value, from among the numerical range corresponding to a portion or all of the numerical data, normalizes the plurality of numeric values included in the numerical data. The machine learning device also includes a learning unit that generates or updates a learning model according to machine learning using, as teaching data, the numerical data indicating the normalized plurality of numeric values.
