Abstract:
The machine learning method according to one aspect of the present disclosure involves creating a learning model for predicting the service life of a consumable article of a laser device, the machine learning method including: acquiring first service-life-related information including data that represents a service-life-related parameter for the consumable article, the data being recorded in correspondence with varying oscillation pulse numbers during the period from when use of the consumable article is started until the consumable article is replaced; dividing the first service-life-related information into a plurality of levels representing the degree of degradation of the consumable article in accordance with the oscillation pulse number, and creating training data; performing machine learning using the created training data and creating a learning model; and storing the created learning model.
