Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a machine for performing normal-temperature crimping of conveyor belt bars, the machine offering exceptional in-situ operability and having comparatively higher bonding strength when corrugated bars are bonded to a main body belt. The machine for performing normal-temperature crimping of conveyor belt bars comprises: a base frame and a hanger frame that are installed in parallel with one another; a support frame that links the base frame and the hanger frame; a support member that is installed in the base frame, said support member having a support surface that faces the hanger frame and supports the main body belt; a pressing member that is linked to the hanger frame, said pressing member having a pressing surface that faces the upper surface of the support member and presses the bar; and a pressurization device that applies pressure between the support member and the pressing member. The pressing member has a fitting part that fits together with the bar, and the fitting part is detachable.
