Abstract:
A machine-to-machine communication method for coverage expansion comprises the steps of: allocating a system bandwidth, of a predetermined size, for transmission; and transmitting system information and/or data from which a master information block (MIB) is excluded, by using the system bandwidth of a predetermined size, wherein the system information and/or data from which the MIB is excluded is transmitted by performing frequency hopping using a periodic hopping pattern. A coverage can be expanded while maintaining a low power.
