Abstract:
A machine tool bed (1), which is configured by integrally connecting element beds (2, 3) in the horizontal direction and in which the joining surfaces of the element beds (2, 3) to be connected are provided so as to intersect with the horizontal surface. Of the element beds (2, 3) that are to be connected to each other, the joining surface of at least one of the element beds is provided with a sealing groove, and when the element bed (2, 3) to be connected is connected, a sealing member is filled in said sealing groove.
