Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a machine tool that fragments swarf and reduces the load on the cutting tool, and a control device for said machine tool. The present invention is: a machine tool (100) configured so that within a cutting tool (130) feed segment S in the range in which the portions that are cut during forward movement and during backward movement overlap, separated feed segments (A4, A1), in which the cutting tool (130) is fed while the cutting tool (130) is separated from a workpiece (W), are provided; and a control device (C) therefor.
