Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to shorten the time required for machining workpieces and ensure worker workability while reducing excess space and cost. [Solution] A lathe (100) is equipped with: main shafts (15, 16), which are provided with lathe-side chucks (13, 14) for holding a workpiece (W) facing the front and which rotate around the axes thereof; and a tool (T1) for machining the workpiece (W). A machining center (200) is equipped with: a rotating tool (T2) that rotates around a horizontal axis; and a MC-side chuck (23), which is for holding a workpiece (W) and is able to turn at least between a workpiece transfer position (P1) in which the workpiece faces towards the front and a machining position (T2) in which the workpiece faces towards the rotating tool (T2). A loader (300) is equipped with: a guide rail (34b) disposed to bridge above the lathe-side chucks (13, 14) and the MC-side chuck (23) in the horizontal direction; and a loader head (31) for holding a workpiece (W) and conveying the workpiece (W) at least between the lathe-side chucks (13, 14) and the MC-side chuck (23) by moving along the guide rail (34b).
