Abstract:
A high rigidity tilt function is achieved while the advantage of tandem drive
is sustained without increasing the control shafts more than the number of shafts
corresponding to tandem shafts. Feeding of the movable section of a parallel
mechanism having two-degree-of-freedom is achieved. A first movable section
base (12) is screwed to a first feed screw shaft (14) and a second movable section
base (22) is screwed to a second feed screw shaft (24). A spindle head (31) is coupled
with the first movable section base (12) to oscillate freely by a supporting shaft
(18). A linking shaft (33) at the distal end of a lever (32) extending downward
from the spindle head (31) is coupled rotatably with the guide piece (29) of an
oblique linear guide (28) provided on the second movable section base (22) and
linked with the second movable section base (22).
