Abstract:
Disclosed is a machine tool provided with a main shaft portion position measuring means (20) for measuring the position of a main shaft center position (O) in the main shaft radial direction with respect to a first reference position (P1), and a blade portion position measuring means (30) for measuring the position of a blade block (7) with respect to a second reference position (P2). The main shaft portion position measuring means (20) comprises a scale (21) extending in the main shaft radial direction, and a reading section (22). Either the scale base end or the reading section (22) is installed in the vicinity of the main shaft center (O) for a main shaft block (5) or the like, the other being installed at the first reference position (P1). In the case of the blade portion position measuring means (30), either one of the reading section (32) and the base end of a scale (31) is installed on the blade block (7) or the like, and the other thereof is installed at the second reference position (P2).
