The purpose of the present invention is to simply and affordably build a machining line without making major structural changes to a machine tool for machining crank shafts. This machine tool machines a scroll workpiece received at a first position, and is equipped with one pair of chucks (6R, 6L), two motors (7R, 7L), and a controller (12). The chucks (6R, 6L) each have work drop openings (6b), and both ends of the work delivered through the work drop openings (6b) are clamped. The two motors (7R, 7L) are provided to the chucks (6R, 6L) respectively, so as to drive each chuck (6R, 6L). The controller (12) controls the clamps for the work of each chuck (6R, 6L), controls the angle at which each chuck (6R, 6L) is rotated by each motor (7R, 7L), and changes the work position from the first position to the second position.
