Abstract:
The present invention provides a machine tool capable of accurately machining even a large workpiece with high precision. This machine tool (1) is provided with a first rotor (10), a surrounding part (48), a first rail (58), a second rail (56), and a fitting member (66). The surrounding part (48) surrounds the first rotor (10). The first rail (58) is installed on the first rotor (10). The second rail (56) is disposed on the surrounding part (48) so as to be disposed on the same straight line as the first rail (58) at a predetermined rotation position. The fitting member (66) moves along the first rail (58) and the second rail (56), is fitted with the first rail (58) and the second rail (56) in a first state, and is not fitted with the first rail (58) but fitted with the second rail (56) in a second state.
