A machining apparatus and method for a reinforcing bar welded mesh, relating to the technical field of reinforcing bar welded meshes, comprising a mesh welding machine body (1). Guide rails (2) are welded to two ends of the mesh welding machine body (1), respectively; machining discharging assemblies (3) are mounted at the upper ends of the guide rails (2); welding assemblies (4) are provided in the mesh welding machine body (1); and overall discharging devices (5) are provided on the side ends of the welding assemblies (4). According to the machining apparatus and method for the reinforcing bar welded mesh, the pay-off position is more precise; the appearance and quality of a product are improved; a step motor is used, and the step frequency thereof is consistent with the welding frequency, such that the step motor matches existing mesh welding machines; the automation degree is improved, and the restriction on a manual placement structure is solved; the problem of high cutting cost of penetrating leakage holes is solved; wefts falling on warps are effectively and precisely positioned, the potential safety hazard of manual paying-off is avoided in the entire operation, and the use safety is improved; and warp and weft welding displacement can be effectively controlled, repeated welding is facilitated, and the overall convenience is improved.
