Abstract:
Provided is a machining center that also efficiently processes long workpieces by the positioning of two pallets. The machining center (1) is provided with a saddle (30) that moves in the Y-axis direction on the bed (10). A table unit (50) moves in the X-axis direction on the saddle (30). On the left and right ends of the front face of the bed (10), set-up stations (110, 120) are disposed. While one pallet (140) is loaded on the table unit (50) and a workpiece (W2) is being processed by the main axial head (80), a workpiece (W1) can be set up on the other pallet (130). It is also possible to load the two pallets (130, 140) on the table unit (50) and process a long workpiece.
