Abstract:
Disclosed is a machining head replacement type rotary tool wherein the possibility that following flanks (52) are brought into tight contact strongly and welded is low even if the following flanks (52) are expanded with heat when milling is performed by means of a machining head (14) because a male screw (18) for fastening and a female screw (20) for fastening consist of small buttress screws where the flank angle α of the following flank (52) is smaller than the flank angle β of a leading flank (54), and welding of the leading flanks (54) on the opposite side are also prevented, and thereby the work for removing the machining head (14) is facilitated at the time of replacement. In that case, a predetermined fixing strength can be maintained because the flank angle β of the leading flank (54) is relatively large.
