Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention, in 3D shape machining, is to provide a method for determining the order of a plurality of steps on the basis of the surface accuracy of each step. Provided is a method for determining machining steps for machining the shape of a material into a designed shape, the method comprising a plurality of steps, wherein the method is characterized in that the combination and order of machining steps consisting of a plurality of steps is determined by the following: as input items for machining-step design, surface accuracy after machining in each step and surface accuracy (required surface accuracy prior to machining) of surfaces-to-be-cut prior to machining are defined; the post machining surface accuracy is calculated from the geometric elements of tools and material-to-be-cut in each step; it is determined whether the post machining surface accuracy fulfills the final required surface accuracy, and if not satisfied, the next step is selected from candidate steps that satisfy the required surface accuracy prior to machining.
