Abstract:
A machining system configured by comprising a base (base unit (34)) and multiple work machine modules loaded on said base (base unit (34)) and disposed in an arrangement direction, wherein: at least one of said multiple work machine modules is a processing machine module (50), which is equipped with (A) a main shaft head having a main shaft on which a tool is mounted and a main shaft-rotating device for rotating said main shaft, (B) a vertical head motion device for moving said main shaft head in the vertical direction, (C) a head movement device for moving the main shaft head along the horizontal direction by moving same in two mutually orthogonal directions, and (D) a work table for holding a workpiece, and which processes the workpiece using the tool; and said processing machine module (50) is configured so as to be capable of being drawn out from the base (base unit (34)) along a track that extends in a crosswise direction that intersects with the arrangement direction.
