Abstract:
Disclosed are: a macro-mini module for an automatic sewing machine, which is attached to an automatic sewing machine to assist with an operation of the automatic sewing machine so as to enable precise sewing and reduce a defect rate by maintaining a constant sewing distance through vision feedback control; an automatic sewing machine having the macro-mini module; and an automatic sewing method using the macro-mini module. The macro-mini module for an automatic sewing machine includes: a vision feedback system for recognizing a seam line of a fabric to be sewed and generating a top stitch sewing path spaced a predetermined distance from the seam line; and a mini XY-plotter module which is attached to a macro XY-plotter of the automatic sewing machine, receives a top stitch sewing path signal from the vision feedback system, and moves to a position corresponding to the top stitch sewing path.
