Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnesium alloy material and a method for producing same. A magnesium alloy material which is one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: with respect to 100% by weight of the magnesium alloy material, Al: 0.03% to 16.0% by weight; Mn: 0.015% to 1.0% by weight; Sc: 0.02% to 0.5% by weight, rare earth element (RE): 0.03% to 2.0% by weight; residual Mg; and inevitable impurities, wherein the rare earth element (RE) may include La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, or combinations thereof.
