Abstract:
A magnesium alloy wheel having a waterproof structure where a seal ring is provided on a member which is connected to a center hole (50) including a hub hole (17). The wheel comprises a liner (53) by which contact corrosion of the different metals is avoided is provided between a hub flange (2) and the face (18) of a wheel (1) at which the wheel (1) is attached to a vehicle shaft (3) and between a hub (4) and the face (18), and a flanged washer (44) which has a recess in cross section and whose surface has a property of a small contact potential difference with respect to magnesium and is disposed at a position where a fastening member (43) for fastening the wheel (1) to a rim (42) is pressed against a disc (7). The contact corrosion caused by the stay of conductive medium such as water or salt water is prevented and the durability is significantly improved.
