Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnet assembly (2) for an electrodynamic loudspeaker motor, comprising a first, outer pair of permanent, axially magnetised ring magnets (3a, 3b) of a first thickness, and a second, inner pair of permanent, axially magnetised ring magnets (4a, 4b) of a second thickness which is smaller than the first thickness. The surface of the first inner magnet (4a) facing the second inner magnet (4b) is offset by a predefined offset distance (Δy) from the surface of the first outer magnet (3a) facing the second outer magnet (3b). The surface of the second inner magnet (4b) facing the first inner magnet (4a) is offset by the predefined offset distance (Δy) from the surface of the second outer magnet (3b) facing the first outer magnet (3a).
