Abstract:
This magnet assembly (3) comprises a bonded magnet body (1) and a holding member (2). The bonded magnet body (1) comprises iron nitride nanoparticles (1a) containing Fe16N2 and a bonding agent (1b) for bonding the iron nitride nanoparticles (1a). The holding member (2) includes opposing surfaces (2a) which cover the external surfaces (1c) of the bonded magnet body (1). This construction can suppress the occurrence of cracks, splits, break, or the like in the bonded magnet body (1) when the magnet assembly (3) is used, even if an external force is applied onto the magnet assembly (3).
