Title:
MAGNET EXCITATION ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/186442
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a rotating electric machine system, a rotor facing an armature is constituted by three rotors each having the same number of magnetic salient poles, the rotors at both ends are formed as a magnet excitation configuration, and, with respect to one rotor, the other two rotors are relatively displaced in mutually opposite circumferential directions to optimally control the torque. A magnetic pole structure having a reluctance torque, a magnetic torque, or both torques can be employed for the intermediate rotor and the optimum magnetic pole structure can be employed on a per-rotor basis, thereby providing a rotating electric machine system having a wide rotational speed range.
