Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the magnetic characteristics of a rare earth-iron-fluorine magnet material. A magnet material formed of a binary or ternary alloy containing Fe and R (wherein R is a 4f transition metal or Y), wherein F is arranged in interstitial positions of the Fe crystal lattice, while some of the Fe atoms constituting the crystal lattice are replaced by at least one kind of atoms selected from the group consisting of Al, Si and Ga.
