Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnetic actuator (10) for producing a linear movement in connection with a lifting rod (9) which gives a monolithic structure together with a cylindrical armature (2) and protrudes centrally on each end face of the armature for being guided in a housing, the external perimeter of the armature (2) being covered with permanent magnets. The armature (2) can be bistably displaced with the lifting rod (9) back and forth in the housing by means of at least one upper actuator coil (3) and at least one lower actuator coil (2). An evaluation logic circuit can evaluate a virtual sensor unit for the magnetic actuator (10) using a current measurement (6) on at least one of the at least one upper or at least one lower coils (3, 4), the virtual sensor unit being present for the purpose of self-monitoring of the magnetic actuator (10). The evaluation logic circuit can further evaluate the sensor unit for the purpose of self-monitoring of the magnetic actuator (10).
