Abstract:
[Problem] Provided is a magnetic bearing control device which specifies the range of motion of an eddy current gap sensor constituting a magnetic bearing and the center thereof to enable a rotor shaft or another shaft to be controlled, which is floated by the magnetic bearing, to be easily controlled to the center position of a protection bearing.
[Solution] A control device (20) for a magnetic bearing is provided with a first function of detecting the motion limit position in the X-axis direction of a rotor shaft (5), a second function of specifying the center of the range of motion on the X-axis of X-axis eddy current gap sensors (10C) (-X sensor, +X sensor) on the basis of the motion limit position in the X-axis direction detected by the first function, a third function of detecting the motion limit position in the Y-axis direction of the rotor shaft (5), a fourth function of specifying the center of the range of motion on the Y-axis of Y-axis eddy current gap sensors (10C) (+Y sensor, -Y sensor) on the basis of the motion limit position in the Y-axis direction detected by the third function, and a fifth function of turning off an excitation current in Y-axis electromagnets (+Y electromagnet, -Y electromagnet) when the motion limit position in the X-axis direction is detected by the first function and when the center of the range of motion on the X-axis is specified by the second function, and turning off an excitation current in X-axis electromagnets (+X electromagnet, -X electromagnet) when the motion limit position in the Y-axis direction is detected by the third function and when the center of the range of motion on the Y-axis is specified by the fourth function.
