Abstract:
A magnetic bearing control device for a magnetically levitated motor comprising a rotor, a pair of electromagnets for levitating the rotor by electromagnetic force, an auxiliary bearing for supporting a rotating shaft of the rotor when the rotor is stopped, and a rotor position detector for detecting a levitated-direction position of the rotor. The magnetic bearing control device is provided with an operating current generation unit which generates an operating current value corresponding to a deviation between a position command value and a rotor position detected by the rotor position detector. The operating current generation unit is configured such that, at the start of levitation for causing the rotor to be positioned in a predetermined target position from a state in which the rotating shaft of the rotor is supported on the auxiliary bearing, the operating current value is provided with a predetermined initial value greater than zero.
