Title:
MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/003580
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A magnetic bearing device having large cooling effect achieved by a simple structure. Fins (15) for forming a backward air flow are provided on the rear outer diameter portion of a rotation shaft (1). A generator (16) converting the air flow generated when the fins (15) are rotated into a compressed vortex flow and having an axial through hole is fixed with appropriate spacing kept between the generator (16) and the fins (15). On the rear side of the generator (16), there is provided a tube (20) having an inner diameter larger than the diameter of the through hole (19) of the generator (16) and having a control valve (21) at the rear end of the tube, so that drive force of the rotation shaft (1) forms cooling wind. A cooling wind passage (22) through which the cooling wing passes is formed inside the rotation shaft (1).
