Abstract:
This magnetic bearing device (10) is provided with: an electromagnet (11) that includes an electromagnet core (12, 112) and a coil (13), and that contactlessly supports a rotary shaft section (21) by means of magnetic attraction; and a sensor (14, 114) that detects the position of the rotary shaft section. The sensor is disposed at a portion of the electromagnetic core facing the rotary shaft portion.
