Abstract:
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to the structural design of a magnetic, preferably axial bearing which is used in the form of a support for fast-rotating structural components and transmission parts exposed to axial forces, in particular for flywheels of inertial energy storage devices. The inventive magnetic bearing, preferably axial bearing, comprises movable constant magnets connected to a rotatable shaft and fixed magnets connected to a body. Said magnets are arranged in such a way that they are alternated and spaced from each other. The magnets are embodied in such a way that they are annular and axially magnetised. The lower ends of the movable magnets have an analogous polarity, the upper ends thereof having an opposite polarity with respect to adjacent ends of the fixed magnets. The magnet bearing is provided with at least one pair of supports one of which is arranged on the body, the other support being mounted on the shaft. Said supports are fixed to the body and the shaft in such a way that the end clearances are formed therebetween in the operating position. Said invention makes it possible to develop a magnetic bearing, preferably an axial bearing when small radial forces are carried by fixing bearings embodied in the form of active electric magnets. Said magnetic bearing also makes it possible to substentially reduce the mass of magnets, ensures minimum power loss during rotation and increases the reliability and operating safety thereof.
