Abstract:
The present invention improves magnetic body detection accuracy when detecting a magnetic body by using the output values from two magnetic sensors. The present invention detects a magnetic body by using the amount of change over time in the output values of two magnetic sensors (measurement sensor unit, reference sensor unit) positioned in a manner such that the interval therebetween is a prescribed distance and the test body is positioned outside the space between the sensors; hence, it is possible to detect a magnetic body by eliminating as much as possible an effect caused by a change in terrestrial magnetism affecting the magnetic sensors. Consequently, it is possible to improve magnetic body detection accuracy by detecting a magnetic body by using the output values of two magnetic sensors.
