Abstract:
Provided are magnetic composite particles that comprise at least fine magnetic particles and a bio-based polymer, and that are characterized by having an average particle diameter of 10-100μm and 50-99.9 wt% of fine magnetic particles. Also provided are a magnetic carrier, and a developer. The magnetic composite particles, magnetic carrier, and developer are effective towards reducing environmental impact in that the use thereof will contribute to the protection of underground resources and the prevention of global warming, are safe for the human body, are highly durable, and can develop high quality images.
