Abstract:
According to the present invention, a magnetic powder 1 is coated with a first binder 3 containing a silicone resin as a main component, wherein the first binders 3 are joined to each other via a second binder 4, such as a phenol resin or a polyimide resin, which has a hardness higher than that of the first binder 3. The magnetic powder 1 and the first binder 3 are mixed to coat the magnetic powder 1 with the first binder 3, the magnetic powder 1 coated with the first binder 3 is mixed with the second binder 4, and the first binders 3 are joined to each other via the second binder 4 to produce a composite material 5. The composite material 5 is pressure-molded to obtain a magnetic core 2. Accordingly, good insulation, low magnetic loss, and sufficient mechanical strength can be achieved.
