Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic coupling characterized by comprising: a first disk rotating together with a driving shaft that is supplied with rotating power from a motor; first permanent magnets arranged radially on the front surface of the first disk such that N-poles and S-poles alternate with each other; a copper plate coupled to the front surface of the first disk so as to form an eddy current to the surface thereof by magnetic forces from the first permanent magnets; a second disk which rotates together with a following shaft, and which is positioned to face the first disk and spaced apart therefrom; and a silicon steel plate coupled and fixed to the rear surface of the second disk and bound to magnetic forces emitted from the first permanent magnets such that, when the first disk rotates, the silicon steel plate rotates together and forcibly rotates the second disk. The present invention is advantageous in that a silicon steel plate having an excellent magnetic permeability is arranged on the second disk and is induced to be firmly bound to magnetic forces from the first permanent magnets embedded in the first disk such that the power transfer efficiency of the motor can be substantially increased, and the number of rotations of the following shaft can be controlled precisely.
