Title:
MAGNETIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/098500
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotating shaft (2) is stored in a case (1). On the rotating shaft (2), a ferromagnetic section (20) is formed, and an electromagnet (10) is provided on the case (1). On a pole face of the electromagnet (10), a multitude of protruding sections (13) are arranged in a direction in which a shift of the rotating shaft (2) is desirably controlled. Furthermore, a multitude of protruding sections (21) are formed in the same manner on the ferromagnetic section (20). Thus, magnetic fluxes generated by the electromagnet (10) concentrate on the protruding sections (13), and as a result, while suppressing reduction of an attracting force to the diameter direction operating to the ferromagnetic section (20), a restoring force in the axis direction is generated. Therefore, the shift of the rotating shaft (2) to the axis direction can be controlled.
