Abstract:
This magnetic element (101) comprises: a laminate (10A) formed by layering a plurality of insulating base-material layers made of the same resin material; a coil (3) formed in the laminate (10A); a magnetic body member (2) housed inside the laminate (10A); and a magnetic sensor (1). The laminate (10A) has therein a sensor arrangement region (CD). The entirety of the magnetic sensor (1) is arranged within the sensor arrangement region (CD). The coil (3) has a winding axis (AX) along the layering direction (Z-axis direction) of the plurality of insulating base-material layers. The sensor arrangement region (CD) is a region combining: a first region sandwiched between a region in which the coil (3) is formed and the magnetic body member (2) in the winding axis direction (Z-axis direction); and a second region which is the inside of a coil winding region. The region in which the coil (3) is formed overlaps the magnetic body member (2) as viewed from the Z-axis direction.
