Abstract:
This invention provides a magnetic encoder that can satisfactorily ensure the
adhesive strength of a scale molded product, can prevent the occurrence of cracking,
fissuring or the like in the molded product, and further can be manufactured at
low cost with high productivity. The magnetic encoder comprises an annular core
metal (20) and an annular scale molded product (42) provided on one side of the
core metal (20) and formed of a plastic magnetic material which has been multipolarly
magnetized in the circumferential direction. In this encoder, a plurality of
radially provided grooves (21) extended radially on one side of the core metal
(20) and open to the internal diameter direction are circumferentially arranged,
and a filling molded part (42) formed of a plastic magnetic material filled into
the radially provided grooves (21) is provided integrally with a scale molded
product (40).
