Abstract:
A magnetic feature detecting device according to the present disclosure detects a magnetic feature of a paper sheet that is being conveyed, and comprises: a plurality of magnets arranged alternately with the magnetic fields thereof reversed; and a magnetosensitive element which is provided between the plurality of magnets and the paper sheet that is being conveyed, and which detects a magnetic field in a region in which the magnetic field between two adjacent magnets among the plurality of magnets reverses.
