Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic field generating device that is capable of generating a strong magnetic field that is stable over a long period of time due to a stable switching element action and a useful cooling method that makes the temperature of a condenser constant. This magnetic field generating device comprises a compressor (21), a condenser (22), an expansion valve (23), and an evaporator that are connected so that a cooling liquid circulates therethrough, wherein: the evaporator is formed from a coil (16) that is formed with a plurality of micropores (32) through which the cooling liquid flows and is wound in a solenoid state; a resonance circuit (15) that has a condenser (33) and causes the coil (16) to resonate is connected to the coil (16); and the coil (16) and the condenser (33) are cooled with the cooling liquid. Consequently, the magnetic field generating device achieves a stable operation of a switching element (30) and is capable of generating a strong magnetic field that is stable over a long period of time with superior cooling that makes the temperature of the condenser (33) constant.
